1. The Service

NAPZ Tournaments provides tools for creating and administering gaming tournaments, including supported bracket and Match Point formats, team/player management, scoring, placements, timers, tournament history, Remote Admin, caster workflows and public Live View features.

Features may be added, changed, limited or removed as the application develops. Some features require an internet connection or a third-party service.

2. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your NAPZ account, email account, Windows device and connected third-party accounts secure. You must provide accurate account information and must not use another person's account without authorization.

If you believe your account or a connected service has been compromised, change the relevant credentials/revoke access and contact NAPZ support where appropriate.

3. Tournament host responsibilities

The tournament host is responsible for tournament rules, participant eligibility, team/player information, scoring decisions, placements, administration decisions, communications, prize arrangements and resolving tournament disputes.

NAPZ provides tournament-management tools but is not a party to agreements between hosts, participants, teams, sponsors or viewers and does not guarantee tournament outcomes, prize payments or participant conduct.

If a host records payment status or payment-related notes, the host is responsible for their accuracy and lawful use. NAPZ does not currently process card or bank payments itself.

4. Participant information and public publishing

Hosts must have an appropriate basis to enter participant information into NAPZ and should avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information. If a supported Live View is published, selected tournament information can become publicly accessible through the Live View URL.

The host is responsible for deciding what participant/display information is appropriate to publish, including where participants are minors.

5. Google Drive Remote Admin

Google Drive integration is optional. If enabled, NAPZ may create and manage NAPZ-authorised tournament files using the Google Drive drive.file permission. You remain responsible for your Google Account and for controlling who can access any Remote Admin file that you share.

Changes made in a Remote Admin file can affect tournament state after they are synchronized/imported. Hosts should review sharing permissions before giving another person edit access.

6. Twitch and other third-party services

NAPZ can use third-party services such as Google/Firebase, Google Drive/Sheets, Twitch, Microsoft platform components, Cloudflare and Discord. Those services are operated independently and may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, technical limits and availability.

NAPZ cannot guarantee that a third-party service, API, website, stream or network connection will always be available or behave the same way after that provider changes its service.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use NAPZ to:

• break applicable law or infringe another person's rights;
• gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, tournament data or connected services;
• distribute malware or deliberately interfere with the security or operation of NAPZ;
• impersonate another person or organization; or
• facilitate fraud, harassment, abuse or deceptive tournament activity.

8. Intellectual property

NAPZ Tournaments software, branding, designs and original content are owned by or licensed to NAPZ Tournaments. These Terms allow you to use the Service as provided; they do not transfer ownership of NAPZ source code, branding, trademarks or other intellectual property.

You remain responsible for content and tournament information that you enter and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

9. Availability, updates and recovery

We may release updates, repairs and feature changes for security, reliability or functionality. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

NAPZ includes local and cloud-assisted save/recovery features, but no system can guarantee that data will never be lost or corrupted. For important events, hosts should verify critical tournament state and maintain reasonable operational safeguards.

10. Support

Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through the available NAPZ support channels. Support availability and response times are not guaranteed unless a separate written support agreement states otherwise.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, condition, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Subject to the non-excludable rights described above, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, NAPZ is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from third-party outages, user-configured sharing, tournament disputes, participant conduct, lost opportunities, or information entered or published by a host.

Any exclusion or limitation in these Terms applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Suspension or termination

Access to the Service may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect security, comply with law, address misuse or respond to a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and disconnect optional integrations at any time.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how NAPZ handles information when you use the Service and connected features.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service develops or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a revised version is published. Where a change materially affects your rights or use of the Service, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated terms available.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory laws or consumer rights that apply to you in another jurisdiction.
